Another relatively mellow day around here. Remember how one of my goals was to get better sleep? Well that my friends, is totally happening! I haven't had to get up to stretch or use the bathroom in the middle of the night all week, and I haven't been restless due to leg or back pain for the past 5-7 days at all! Now, I would be lying to you if I said that I wasn't still waking up throughout the night to readjust, but that is more due to the grizzly bear sleeping next to me whom I most affectionately like to call Jason. He's sleeping so well that he's sprawled out with dead weight legs and arms in every direction... of the things we tolerate for love ;)
Breakfast: Yet another Omelet of Red Bell Pepper and Spinach, Tomato Basil Sausage
Lunch: Sauteed Seasoned Shrimp, Zucchini, Apple with Almond Butter
Snack: Applesauce
Dinner: Leftover Salmon and Cabbage, Veggies with Guac and Banana (for me), Cobb Salad (no dressing or cheese) for Jason
Snack: Coconut Pie Lara Bar
Jason's dinner was a bit of a challenge tonight. He had a work event taking place at a local restaurant, so he had brought home the menu a few days prior so we could determine if anything the could offer would be compliant. He said that the salad was good, but of course it didn't even come close to the things his coworkers were diving into. He also is growing more and more tired of eggs for breakfast, so we will probably be mixing it up for tomorrow.
